2. Service description

These terms govern the delivery of digital vehicle history reports. Reports combine technical, administrative and historical data (damage, mileage, ownership) based on identification via VIN or registration.

3. Prices and payments

Prices are clearly displayed before purchase and include all applicable taxes:

Payments are securely processed via Stripe. We do not store card details on our servers.

4. Satisfaction or money back

Your satisfaction is our priority.

Contrary to the usual limitations for digital products, we offer a satisfaction or money-back guarantee in the following cases:

  • No data found: the system finds no usable information.
  • Technical error: issues during report generation.
  • Dissatisfaction: if the report does not meet expectations.

For a refund, email contact@historycar.co.ukwith your order number or the email used. Refunds are processed within 48–72 hours to the original payment method.

5. Service delivery

The report is available immediately after payment confirmation. It is displayed on-screen and a PDF is automatically sent to the provided email address. If you don’t receive it, check spam or contact support.

6. Liability

Data comes from official sources and partners. Despite quality checks, we cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy. The report is a decision aid and does not replace a physical inspection.

7. Data protection (GDPR)

We process your data (email, VIN) in accordance with GDPR. Data is used only to deliver the service and is never sold to third parties.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. In case of disputes, we first seek an amicable resolution through customer support.
